Assoziierte Professorin und stellvertretende Vorständin an der Abteilung für Chemie nachwachsender Rohstoffe des Departments für Chemie der Universität für Bodenkultur Wien. Co-Direktorin, zusammen mit Dr. Thomas Rosenau, des Christian-Doppler-Labors für "Moderne Cellulosechemie und -analytik. Mitglied zahlreicher Editorial Boards auf den Gebieten der Chemie nachwachsender Rohstoffe und der Restaurierung / Konservierung historischer Materialien sowie in wissenschaftlichen Kommittees internationaler Konferenzserien. Empfängerin zahlreicher internationaler wissenschaftlicher Ehrungen.
